the 14 th kolkata film festival

The 14th Kolkata Film Festival will be held in the city from 10 to 17 November, the state chief minister Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said today.
He said 276 feature films, that include 44 short films and 17 Indian films, would be screened during the week long festival. A sizeable number of films from Latin American countries will also be screened at the festival.
The KFF will be inaugurated on 10 November with Italian director Cristiano Bortone's Red Like The Sky. Cine lovers of the city also have a chance of viewing one of Satyajit Ray's rare short film Two that will be shown at KFF for the first time, chief minister Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said.
Eleven different venues that include Nandan, SRFTI, (EZCC), Star Theatre, Sisir Mancha, Rabindra Sadan and Priya cinema hall will be used for screening the films.
