અમદાવાદમાં યોજાઈ રહેલા આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પતંગ મહોત્સવમાં ફરજ પર મુકાયેલા પતંગગાર્ડ આકર્ષણનું કેન્દ્ર બન્યા છે. અમદાવાદમાં સાબરમતી રીવરફ્રન્ટ ખાતે આતંરરાષ્ટ્રીય પતંગ મહોત્સવ યોજાઈ રહ્યો છે. સમગ્ર વિશ્વનું ધ્યાન ખેંચનાર આ કાઇટ ફેસ્ટિવલમાં આવનારા મહાનુભાવો અને વિદેશી પતંગબાજોની પતંગ કોઇ કાપી ના જાય તે માટે પતંગગાર્ડ રાખવામાં આવ્યા હોવાનું બિનસત્તાવાર રીતે જાણવા મળે છે.
નોંધનીય છે કે બુધવારે ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રિય પતંગ મહોત્સવને વિધિવત રીતે ખુલ્લો મુકીને આકાશમાં પતંગ ચગાવી હતી. સીએમની પતંગ કોઇ અજાણપણે પણ કાપી ના નાખે તેની પર આ પતંગગાર્ડની નજર રહી હતી.

Nice that we have community festivals like this..i specially love Indian festivals…but that’s so funny having a guard watching over you when you fly the kite..I mean the real fun is having that what we Gujarati call it “petch” right…anyways…have to admit that it’s great….
